Dr. Maribel Monroe

Hormone Optimization & Functional Medicine Physician

Dr. Maribel E. Monroe

Dr. Maribel E. Monroe is a Las Vegas–based physician specializing in hormone optimization, functional medicine, and longevity-focused care. With over 20 years of experience as an OB/GYN, she brings a deep and comprehensive understanding of women’s health and hormonal physiology to her practice.

Dr. Monroe completed her OB/GYN residency at Wayne State University, where she developed a strong clinical foundation in women’s health. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to helping patients navigate hormonal changes at every stage of life—from reproductive years through menopause and beyond.

For more than two decades, she has focused on hormone replacement therapy, building extensive expertise in the use of bioidentical hormones for both women and men to restore balance, improve metabolic function, and enhance overall quality of life.

Her approach centers on identifying and addressing the root causes of symptoms—rather than simply managing them. By combining traditional medical training with advanced education in anti-aging and functional medicine, including ongoing training through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine (A4M), Dr. Monroe provides a comprehensive, personalized model of care.

Known for her attentive and thoughtful approach, Dr. Monroe takes the time to truly listen to her patients—many of whom come to her after feeling dismissed elsewhere—and develops individualized treatment plans designed to restore energy, clarity, and long-term health.

Her mission is to help patients achieve optimal function, longevity, and a renewed sense of well-being—not just in their labs, but in how they feel every day.
